NEW MOON

Ach, um wieviel spontaner, echter, zauberhafter ist doch Twilight von Katherine Hardwicke, als dieser glanzlose Streifen nachgesetzter zum bloßen Effektbild erstarrter Aneinanderreihung von Szenen.
Man möchte sich verschnupft zurückziehen, was hat er denn nur gemacht aus diesem Skript, aus diesem Buch, dieser Regisseur CHRIS WEITZ, nach dieser Vorgabe von Twilight... wie konnte er diesen eingefrorenen Wechsel vollführen in eine Welt hinein, in der alle nur "posen"!!!
POSEN, ist wohl eine moderne Variante auf Natürlichkeit, zielgerichtetes Hinstellen, langatmige Einstellungen auf die immer gleiche eingefrorene Haltung... - da ist, bis auf ganz wenige, minimale Einstellungen bei Robert Pattinson, bei Kristen Steward ... sehr wenig von echtem Mienenspiel zu sehen... schade, sehr schade... und so viel ist verloren gegangen:

die Atmosphäre im Haus der Cullens ist einer spießigen, kleinbürgerlichen Vorstadtwohnzimmeridylle gewichen...

die Ernsthaftigkeit und Spannung in Sams Haus um Lea ist zum lächerlichen Giant-Muffin-Gag verkommen....

fliegende Menschen, fliegende Vampire und Wölfe, sind dann passés, wenn sie im Trailer mehrfach vorkommen - und huch, daraufhin auch noch im Film mehrmals eingesetzt werden...
Mir stößt es unangenehm auf, nicht als Déjà-vue, sondern als "saftlose Wiederholung"!

Etwas sehr wichtiges ist vollkommen vernachlässigt worden: Die Richtung der Blicke!
Die Sprechenden reden oft mit sich selbst, da das Gegenüber nicht im Bild ist, oder nur als Silhouette, die aber nicht angesehen wird, bzw. der Blick in die Augen fehlt und dadurch ist das
Gespräch ein Monolog - das ist sichtbar und fühlbar... mehr als peinlich!!!


Die Kamera hatte leider nur simple Einstellungen, entweder Frontal und ganze Räume, die zarten Einstellungen auf sich bewegende Hände, auf sich ineinanderwindende Blicke, Hintergründe mit Details, Details, Details, die Geschichten erzählten.... Zoom auf Unwesentliches, Überblendungen, und und und, all das, was diesen Twilight-Film so überraschend natürlich und vielfältig machte, das alles ist in vordergründiger Flachheit versandet...

Im Kino war es weder spannugnsgeladen, noch sehr ruhig, die einen hantierten mit dem Handy rum, die nächsten plapperten unruhig miteinander, andere aßen und tranken, waren vertieft in ihre Käsedips. Am Schluss, es war schon sehr unruhig im Kino, war der Schlusseffekt, diese Hochzeitsforderung von Edward, wie ein stumpfes Messer, dessen Aufklappen schon jeder kannte, es war nur eine müde, ja uneingeschränkt platt daherkommende Verheißung ...

Es ist sehr bedauerlich, dass diese drei wunderbaren Schauspieler so schlecht vorgeführt wurden...
Seltsam ist nicht, dass ich einige Male laut lachen musste, weil einzelne Szenen ziemlich albern waren, seltsam daran ist, dass einige Leute mitlachten und dass sich niemand beschwerte...

The Young AMERICAN SUPERSTAR

There is something about him, that makes him very sympathetic and typical at the same time:

He is - forgive me - the AMERICAN HERO, always friendly, always prepared, never preposterous, never aggressive or bragging, always composed and smiling, doing his very best and never lazy, in no sense - he is just perfect - THE PERFECT KID!!!

Why - WHY - W H Y ???

There has always been this one question:

Why can a wonderful - beautiful - vampire fall in love with such a simple, normal human girl???

Hey... everybody just stumbles over this question - but the answer is just as simple... because:

BELLA is not simple - has never been simple - will never be simple.....


Edward's attention was attracted the very first moment, because he couldn't read her mind.... so.... what????

She was special, very special!!!

All the girls, as long as he could remember - as long as almost 90 years back - had always had those simple minds... which had been readable - because they had just been simple...



...and aren't most minds just readable?
Is there really a secret behind most minds?



There is lust, there is greed, there is love, there is speed (sorry for the rhyme), there is interest, there is disgust, there is boredom and faith...

so what???

A compliment to KRISTEN STEWARD for trying to make this wonderful girl visible, palpable and understandable. She is a wonderful actress.
She is Robert's counterpart and she does it very well.

Kristen is not only good-looking in the common way, but she is beautiful,
a c o o l girl, a model girl, fitting as model actress every photo-shooting demand, just playing her part extremely well, without leaving the impression of being seduced by overacting, boasting and false pretenses.

She is just pure and outright true... not the romantic soft girl, no, she has never been soft, she is just herself, doing her job wonderfully truthful...

somehow as truthful as Robert...

so...

What about Tayler Lautner? I haven't talked about him yet.

He is only 17 years old. Gifted with a wonderful voice and a wonderful character.

This young boy has worked hard to stay on the cast and he has gained every single moment. What a surprise. Pure and faithful, in life as in the film. So, this is exactly what makes the film so good:

There doesn't seem to be a breach between reality and film...


Sorry! Of course there is no connection! There are the actors and there is the script... but, in real life, watching the interviews, there seems to be some magic, that merges the parts together....

REMEMBER ME

This is the original SUMMIT Trailer - and thanks to them - we can watch it months before the film will be released...

And what do we see? Again - a wonderful Robert Pattinson - a great actor - absolutely convincing!




The story seems to be a simple one. Rich boy meets poor girl! But there must to be more behind it. Let's wait for the rest.

The fact that I became a fan of (not to say an addict to watching films and interviews of) this young actor has been tainted quite a few times by friends and journalists who try to minimize his talent. It is true, whenever he appears in an interview he is in danger of being ridiculed by himself. But - I noticed that - the sillier the questions, the more often he is asked the same monotonous things, the more primitive his interviewers seem to be, the more poor Robert drools and babbles nonsense about himself, about his character, about his everyday actions!
I am absolutely sure that he suffers each time afterwards. But he is not a boaster, a braggart, no!
He almost never talks about his success "before" Twilight - and there were quite a few films where he proved his extraordinary talent - (just scroll down) .

For more than a year I have followed him with the help of "Robsessed - Addicted to Robert Pattinson" and "Confessions of a TwicrackAddict" and some other very interesting blogs -
(some of them have already been stopped) - and it has not become less - not a bit, my interest has even grown and ...

...I have never in my youth - and this is a confession - admired any living film star or singer.
I thought the Rolling Stones a disgusting lot of dirty womanizers, the Beatles made wonderful music, but the guys, I could not admire them, I just could not find anything in their character or personality that would have captured me so much that I would have just given up ....


Now I smile... I smile and lean back. What is it, that captures the girls worldwide - is it just the figure "Edward" - or is it more....?


I think it is more...

So let it be! I am a fan and I am proud of it!
